The Neidhart + Schön Group offers climate-neutral printing process

The Zurich-based Neidhart + Schön Group is guided by its corporate slogan “United by ambition” in more than just its printed and digital communications solutions. It has lofty ambitions for energy efficiency and climate protection as well.
Before it could deploy ClimatePartner’s climate-neutral printing process, the innovative company first underwent an energy efficiency check by the strategic consultancy. The Neidhart + Schön Group aims to expand its commitment to the environment with the new printing process, hence adding to the FSC and ISO-12647-2 certification of its print centre.
The climate-neutral printing process from ClimatePartner makes it possible for the Neidhart + Schön Group to determine and offset the unavoidable carbon emissions from a print order – by investing in certificates for recognised climate protection projects. Neidhart + Schön Group employees can also provide better advice for their customers with a specially designed “climate calculator”. This is used to show how CO2 can be cut with the choice of the right paper or printing process.
In offering climate-neutral printing, the Neidhart + Schön Group is accepting its responsibility for the environment and committing itself to climate protection. The primary focus is on avoiding carbon emissions, followed by reducing and only finally offsetting.
