The new printing centre being built by the Neidhart + Schön Group and Druckerei Feldegg will top the tables for energy efficiency, climate protection and technical equipment.

On January 1, 2010, the Neidhart + Schön Group and Druckerei Feldegg will open a new printing centre offering high-quality offset printing and post-press, thus pooling production capacity and laying the foundation for further growth. Other partners wanting to enhance cost structures and tap synergies are also welcome.

The Neidhart + Schön Group produces printed and digital communication solutions, notably for financial, image and product publications. It leads the way in Switzerland in using web-based production systems such as ns››publish› to optimise media creation processes.

Druckerei Feldegg is committed to eco-friendly production and climate neutral printing.

The new facility will meet the highest demands for sustainable, efficient, quality media production. Geared to the partners’ strengths and needs, a low-energy, cost-effective printing centre is being built, with the latest computerised technologies ensuring optimum workflows. The centre will help the pair to expand their commitment to climate neutral production by implementing suitable measures in this field.

The partners will continue production at their current facilities to December 31, 2009. After that date, the Neidhart + Schön Group will keep all its operations apart from offset printing and post-press at its premises in Zurich-Wipkingen.

We will keep you up-to-date on progress on our homepage.
