Neidhart + Schön Group and Swissprinters sign a partner contract
With effect from 1 January 2012, Swissprinters AG is handing over its sheet-fed offset activities in German-speaking Switzerland to the Neidhart + Schön Group. The partnership agreement includes transferring both the customer base and the current orders to the Zurich-based company. In addition, Neidhart + Schön has undertaken to retain 45 Swissprinters employees in the corporate group.
Moving forward, Swissprinters AG is concentrating on industrial production in web-offset printing in German-speaking Switzerland. In selling its sheet-fed offset activities to the Neidhart + Schön Group, the company is now ensuring the seamless continuation of existing orders from Schlieren and St. Gallen. The transfer will take place in stages starting 1 January 2012. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
Olivier Neidhart, CEO of the Neidhart + Schön Group, comments: “This step underscores the strategic goal of our corporate group to be one of the leading media service providers in Switzerland. It reinforces our position in a fast-consolidating market and ensures a high level of capacity utilisation at our modern printing centre in Schwerzenbach near Zurich. We look forward to working with Swissprinters, which offers plenty of potential. What’s more, we’re drawing additional know-how into our organisation with 45 new employees, meaning that our existing customers can continue to count on outstanding results.”
